Physics

Physics

The physics course attracts a range of students including those who wish to study engineering at university but also those whose interests lie in areas ranging from  the healthcare professions to careers in actuarial science, economics and management to name but a few.

The course covers the theoretical aspects of the subject via a range of teaching approaches including the development of a deep understanding of the subjective via illuminating practical work. The use of electronic independent learning materials in order to consolidate class room activities allows student to further enhance their understanding.

Physics at A-level enables students to develop a range of transferable skills including the ability to critically assess evidence, make judgements and interpret data.

Physics is a prestigious qualification universally accepted by universities as an entrance qualification.  It allows student to demonstrate that they possess an impressive portfolio of skills in addition to in-depth scientific knowledge.
